"One Night. One Cause. Our Campus."

Entertainer Danny Thomas had a dream of a hospital that treated children at absolutly no cost to them or their families. In 1962, with the help from donations, Mr. Thomas opened the doors to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

St. Jude is a hospital that not only treats children with childhood diseases, they are also the leaders in research for developing treatments and finding cures. In 1962 when St. Jude first started the survival rate for Acute Lymphoblastic Luekemia was 4%. Today, nearly 50 years later, the survival rate for ALS is 94%.

When St. Jude first started the annual budget was $1 million. Today that is closer to the daily budget and the annual budget is closer to $400 million. No matter what the situation, children that go to St. Jude pay $0. Everything is paid for through donations from people like you. Eveything from x-rays and MRIs to gas, food, and housing for families while their child is in Memphis.

Because of this St. Jude needs help from people like you and organizations like Up 'Til Dawn to get donations so they can keep their research and treatments top notch and keep charging $0 to patients and  their families.
